Kurz-Beschreibung der Version 1.22 (DG6MAY 23.8.92)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
News and changes (of version 1.21 to 1.17 and erlier):
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
- After using the Connect-Command, you get the msg 'Link setup...'
like the RMNC, except using 'C call' (big C, only 1 space).
Switching off by setting Bit 6 of Parm 30.
- User get the Connecttext (Ctext) at level2 (HF-Connect), as well as
level4 (circuit). If a Node (call is in the nodeslist) connects,
no text will be transmitted (TCPIP on level2).
On Level4, you can switch the text off by Bit 7 (parm 30),
on both levels by deleting ctext.
- Further Command High/Low switching LED's called now LED.
Parms with a value > 3 can no longer change other registers of sio
- No longer different Idents on HDLC and RS232 possible.
- Setting a Coldboot-Byte in Eprom (changes not possible by remote)
each warmboot will be a coldboot.
- Userprompt after Connect contents the Login-Message 'Hallo at '.
After using the Q-Command, you get the Logoff-Message 'By & 73...',
then the Dicoonect follows.
- Switching off the broadcasts, exept the own call, is only on HDLC in
addition with RS232 possible by setting Parm 6 bigger than Parm 5.
- Don't change the signon-msg at the USERS-Command (TheNet 1.21).
- Max 8 calls can be blocked (see CN-Command).
- Systemparms were transmitted by X-Command.
- No hidden nodes (#) will be send by setting the Bit 13 (Parm 30).
- All Nodes (also hidden) were shown by the Nodes-Command with the parm '?',
with there quality and counter. At the end of list, you can read the number
of nodes, the Bug of Reset getting a long Nodes-List was removed.
- New programmed the Control of CCP-Use only down to a certain number
of buffer (Parm 31).
- If Pin22 of SIO is floating, the reset of level4 at RS232 is no more, but
for quick work, it's necessary to put the pin at a certain level (0V/+5V).
- The Bake can only aktiv in then 'every'-mode, no 'after' is possible.
Parm 25 is the time-interval in secunds. Switching off by a value
smaler 10. You ca edit a Path to send the bake via... (max 8 calls),
see Command ED.
Changes of version 1.22 to 1.21:
--------------------------------
- editing calls to CN-List also possible during Bit 11 (of parm 30) is
set. No longer 'Invalid Call' will appear by trying to connect a call
being in the CN-List, but 'Link Setup ...' (as everytime hihihi..)
- Procedure of RMNC's linktime-meassurement (Version 1.21) removed,
new Version V3.1 of Flexnet can do this efficiently by using '@' in
Linkliste
- If Bit 1 of Parameter 26 is set, AUTO-CQ-Modus is active (only TheNet
1.22e). If user appears in userlist, he can be connected like
having activated CQ in older versions.
- New style in userlist, Bug in 'via' at downlink removed.
If Bit 2 of Parameter 26 is set, user, logged in as Sysop, will
no more appear in userlist. If your are also logged in as Sysop,
you all the users.
- By setting Flag 14 of Parameter 30, number of SABM of a Level2-Connects
is set to half the value of the parameter 20 (retries).
If connect has been successful, number of retries is the value of
parameter.
- Different (Level2-) digipeating denpends to the value of parameter 23:
0: no digipeating (like in older versions)
1: all will be digipeated (like in older versions)
2: only UI- and DM-Frames (new, for Flexnetsearch, Bake etc.)
- Beneth Broadcast 'to NODES' on HDLC, you can also edit goal (new!)
and path (max 8 Digipeater) by remote (siehe Befehl ED).
- Using the Kill-command, you can remove any Level2- and Level4-User
- The MAILbox-command made it more comfortable to connect a certain
call (also Node). Edit with <ED> (%...).
- Ctext is send at multiconnect only for the 1.st time, if the
usercall (any SSID) appears in userliste.
Difference between the versions 1.22e and 1.22i:
------------------------------------------------
- Auto-CQ-Modus only in 1.22e
- At 1.22e you can additional edit 1 goal/path for Broadcast.
At 1.22i you can edit 3 goals/paths, plus 1 goal (with only 1
Digi as path) can be burned in Eprom (see Patchprg).
- Bit1 of Parameter 26 (AX.25 CQ-Enable) has a different meaning:
TN 1.22e: Auto-CQ-Modus activ
TN 1.22i: In Eprom burned goal/path for Broadcast is activ
- If no 'Mailbox-Call' is edited, comment is a bit smaller at 1.22i
